    I have an OLD Cd burner. My problem is that everytime I burn a Cd i get a Buffer under run error even though im not doing anything. It also says invalid write state. This is new media by the way. is my burner damaging these media?

    ive also tried memorex and still the same thing...

    The writer obviously doesn't have burn-proof protection or it is disabled,check to see that it is enabled in burn software and that DMA is enabled,also run Nero CDSpeed overburn test.
    It's possible that your writers controller is bad.
