I got a 2 file Divx movie with the first file being longer than the second BUT the second is a bigger size. Because of this, I am having problems fitting the whole movie on two SVCDs. The second movie's TMPGenc size estimation after mpeg-2 conversion is lower than what the final product is.
What I really need is to encode that second file without losing the quality. TMPGenc says the second file will be around 600 megs after encoding but it comes out 730 megs. I encoded both files the same way (settings) and the first comes out as estimated. Is there a way to decrease the size of the encoded second file without losing quality?
