Is there a way to make games play independant. Like without actually installing them? The reason I ask is that I have seen it done with such games as Red Alert 2 and Tony Hawk Pro Skater.
I want to try and do it to my copy (yes I own it) of Soldier of Fortune so i can play it at Uni in my free time.
Cheers.

Most PC games ussualy have 2 types of installs. One is minimal and one is full. Minimal requires the CD and a CD drive that streams the game directly to u.
The full still requires the Cd but runs from the HDD
