    I just purchased Pinnacle Studio 8, but is it the same thing as Instant Copy? Or is Instant Copy included in the Studio 8?

    There's a big difference. Studio 8 is a entry level video editing sw with recent capabilities added for authoring DVD. Instant Copy is for copying, or backing up of DVD disks.

    Bob W. You rolled over too easily. S8 is a pile of XXX and doesn't "work too". It is in it's Xth Beta version and is showing no sign of convergence to a useful application.

    donpedro. I thought that this thread dealt with S8. If you want to push the virtues of S8 then why don't you start a separate thread?
