I am trying to make a backup of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets DVD. I tried to rip it with DVD Decrypter but when it gets to the main movie files it says "cannot read file: VTS_01_1.VOB Reason: Copy protection error-the read failed because the sector is encrypted."
Do I have to use another program or does this mean that it is impossable to make a backup of this DVD? This is only the second DVD I have ever tried to do. The first one I did was Clash of the Titans and that went fine.

"My first computer cost $2,400, had no hard drive, 16K of memory, a 120KB 5" floppy disk, [and] a green monitor"

Try playing the movie on your computer than open it with decrypter. That's the only thing that comes to mind.
Don't give in to DVD2ONE, that leads to the dark side.
