  1. How could I take a 10 second sports clip recorded from my miniDV and make the background white and the people silhouettes on the white background?

Can this be done? Would I need expense software. Is this a job for a professional?

    TIA

  2. Perhaps a semi-pro job. You might need Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or Ulead Studio Pro. They are not expensive, if you know where to look :P
But I never try this effect, I'll investigate a little....

It could take some time, but you could convert the AVI to image sequences. Then you could edit them in Photoshop or other image editor. Then just put them back together as video. You might be able to drop a few frames here and there to save time. That's the cheep way that I can think of.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

  4. Thanks guys.

Pop - I was hoping one of the advanced software packages had a built in filter that would do this, but I haven't seen it.

racer - that would be a last resort...that would probably take a while since I'm only a novice with a photo imager. I get so frustrated trying to do advanced functions.
