    Hi Im havine trouble like when after I convert avi to vcd , in the middle of the disc, the sound doenst go along with the picture, I dont know what the problem is but if anyone can help id appreciated alot. Also on my avi disc there a running time error. Thanks

    It would help if you told us what tools and settings you are using.
    Do you have sync problems if you play the vcd on your computer?

  3. YOU DEFINITELY HAVE A SYNC PROBLEM

    there are numerous reasons mate for sync problems.the most common one is audio lagging.

    reasons
    1: the program in which u r encoding/decriptng is causing it or the program in which u use to splice the mpeg and the audio track together is causing it
    2: the stand alone dvd player u use cannot cope with long svcd/vcd playing ie; the film gets progressivly worse as it continues playing...

    solutions
    1: try different encoders/decripters programs
    2: play the svcd/vcd through ya pc and compare it when playing in ya dvd player to see wether it is ya dvd player causing the problem........
