  1. can any one help me with burning dvd-r using nero 5.5.9. i try to put dvd9 to dvd5. i convert a 7.6 GB movie using dvd shrink and put it into 4.3 GB which fit into one dvd-r. when i try to burn it using nero, it was successfully burn but only play in computer. some how it wouldn't play on my stand alone dvd player.
    in nero, i go to dvd rom (udf), physical partition, udf 1.02. i put ifo and vob in VIDEO_TS folder and drag it to the other side to burn. but it is still won't play on my stand alone dvd player. can one help me fix it or it their any program that you recommend for me to used. i try to use dvd2one and burn with nero but it does the same. i try to put a dvd9 to dvd5. it there any program that can do it.
    oh, by the way, my dvd player is toshiba. it play when i used dvdx copy to make backup.
    can one help me, i'll be very appriciated

  2. Did you create an AUDIO_TS folder also? It can be empty.

  3. have you tried a different burning program? like recornd now copytodvd etc. many people has said that dvd files burned by nero don't play in most dvd players. it works fine for me though.

    Try another program. Some Nero-made discs don't work in some (usually cheaper players). I use DVDit! PE, works great 10 times out of 10.

    Euhmmm Nero UDF/ISO with UDF v1.02 is THE MOST COMPATIBLE
    Just be sure to get version v5.5.10.20 or above!!
