  1. I use MeGUI to run my avisynth scripts and I have 32 and 64-bit versions of MeGUI installed. On both, I have UNticked 'Always use the included avisynth'. For avisynth, I have the Universal Avisynth Installer and have 32 and 64-bit versions installed.

When I use QTGMC in a script, I have to use 32-bit MeGUI because 64-bit MeGUI simply shuts down. In the days before Universal Avisynth Installer (IIRC) you had to install a number of 'core' plugins for QTGMC to work but am I right in thinking that with Universal Avisynth Installer this is unnecessary (would seem so given that my 32-bit MeGUI is OK with QTGMC)?

Ultimately, what do I need to do to get my 64-bit MeGUI to accept a script with QTGMC in it?

    Many thanks for all suggestions.

The "Universal Avisynth Installer" by Groucho2004 installs the AviSynth+ core DLLs into the Windows system.

It does not install the QTGMC Core Plugins and Scripts. No. They have to be added to either the "plugins" or the "plugins64" directory of the AviSynth+ installation, depending on their bitness (*.avsi scripts in both).

Furthermore, you may need to install required Microsoft Visual C++ Runtimes.

  3. And, of course, you need 64 bit versions of all those DLLs.

  4. Good grief. Turns out I didn't have qtgmc.avsi in the plugins folder. Had everything else. Sorted now. Thanks for the replies.
