  1. Hello, I'm new here.

I've got a question about waifu2x-caffe that I haven't been able to figure out. I've been using this program to upscale images, and it works great! But I've seen videos on YouTube where people use this program for videos. But waifu2x-caffe doesn't support video formats. Here's an example of a video I saw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SscUklTSeq8, (there are plenty more out there). Also every time I search for information I come across this on Google: https://github.com/nagadomi/waifu2x. I've downloaded it but there's no .exe/setup, so I don't know how I'm suppose to open/use it? This page is EXACTLY what I am looking for: http://devpost.com/software/wave-waifu2x-based-animated-video-enhancer but, I don't know how to open the damn file. Can someone explain to me what I need to open/use these files step-by-step in a simplified way? It's SUPER frustrating when you're interesting in learning something but you can't understand any of it. >.>

Also a similar post has already been made on VideoHelp Forum: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/376836-How-to-upscale-a-video-using-waifu2x But ehhh, FFMPEG is a little too hard. I don't know any of those command-lines + I don't know how many images I'd need per second in order to make it a whole video again with the same length and frame rate.

To put it simply, this is what I'm looking for: http://devpost.com/software/wave-waifu2x-based-animated-video-enhancer but I have no idea how to open those files + there's no how-to guide.

I hope someone could help me out!

P.s sorry for not being word-perfect in English, it's not my native language.

    3) combine the new image sequence back to video stream
    4) mux with audio stream
Steps 1 and 3 can be done with VirtualDub. 1) File -> Export -> Image Sequence, 3) File -> Open Video File -> Select 1st image.

Hey! Thanks for helping out. I have downloaded VirtualDub and installed Plugins to support .MKV files. Everything went fine so far, but how many ''number of digits in'' should I put. it's 4 by default (I think,) since it opened with 4... I want it to be the exact same as the original after I recreate it.

Oh and, do you by any chance know how I can open/use those files from: https://github.com/nagadomi/waifu2x? I'm still curious on how to do that as well. If you know that by any chance.

  4. Use the number of digits you need for the number of frames in your source. Four digits won't be enough if your video is more than 9999 frames.
