no audio when downloading stream

Hi,
when i download a video from this website (https://www.arte.tv/de/videos/086124-001-A/entkolonisieren-1-3/ ), there is no audio in the file.
Does anybody have a solution? It would be great to keep this documentary.

How are you downloading the video ?
On the corresponding JSON page there are direct links (ending in .mp4) which point to complete video files (with audio), and there are streaming / playlist kind of links (ending in .m3u8) which point to separate video and audio streams. So whatever tool / method you used to download it probably picked a .m3u8 link and only got the video part.

Direct MP4 links are easier to download and the audio quality is better (125kbps instead of 61kbps).
I use a software called Captvty to download videos from Arte.tv, it's convenient, streamlined and efficient, regularly updated ; don't know if translations are proposed, if not, you only need to click on the Arte logo on the left column, then search the documentary by broadcast date (29 June 2021) or title (french title is "Décolonisations"), then right-click, select "Télécharger la vidéo", then choose whichever version you prefer (out of a gazillion in this particular case — quite impressive how many different versions are available, with subtitles in english, spanish, italian... no inuit though... yet they might need to learn about colonization as it could be their future, what with the remaining oil resources being under their half frozen feet...).
