Noise reduction for audio like in iMovie

I am switching video production from iMovie to AviSynth. In iMovie I can reduce noise in a clip by clicking the soundwaves icon and then adjusting the strength of denoising.

I have found multiple noise reduction filters in the AviSynth External filters page. They all seem image filters to remove noise in video.

I could not find a noise reduction filter to remove noise in audio, such as room tone or background noise.

Does it exist in AviSynth+?

No. Do your audio noise reduction in WAV editors, ones such as the freeware Audacity. Then rejoin the edited audio with the video later on.
