Is there any way I can minimise blending artefacts on a 25fps video (blended from 25i source)

I've read somewhere blending artefact can be minimised by adding artificial motion blur. Gotta check out if that is actually correct

  5. Post an untouched sample with steady movement.

  6. Yup, depending on the blending it might be possible,...

Thing I was trying to restore is a home video that I would rather not send on the internet.

Attachment is a video I made 5 minutes ago, made to have the same artefact (and the same 1/100 shutter speed)

Your home video has all that motion blur? I think you're out of luck, but it doesn't look that when played back at normal speed

Well some scenes are nearly motionless, but around 60% of scenes were recorded handheld

Typical camera shake is not necessarily the same as the motion blur you uploaded.
I don't think you're going to get any other (Avisynth) suggestions unless you upload a sample

Nevermind this post, after hours of searching old harddrives, I managed to find original interlaced camcorder files.
