When will a DVD9 Dual writer come out? :)

If anyone know which site is uptodate with all the different info on DVD-r, DVD+RW etc. pls , post the URL.
I want to get a dvd writer, but want more info so that I know when to jump on. Would ideally like a dvd9, but when will this ever come out?

DVD+RW you can find at http://www.dvdplusrw.org/

As for DVD9 I think the main companies will wait to see which system will be more established DVD-R(W),DVD+R(W) or something else. DVD-R(W) has just been introduced, DVD+R(W) is meant to be indtroduced Summer/Fall of this year.
