  3. This format is the format of the video recorded by equipment peekton 500. Transport stream format (*tsv). Can only be read in the equipment but if I choose to record as .mpg, subtitles can not be recorded... tnks!

  4. You might try VLC, or ffmpeg/ffplay, or mplayer/mencoder

What does mediainfo (view=>text) say about the file ?

Usually there are mulitple issues with proprietary formats. If you upload a small sample you might get better input

sorry it seems to be some machine sold only in france and i can't read a manual in french.

if nothing can play the tsv files the mpg version is the best you are going to get.

  6. indeed, it is a french machine. What is strange is that, I have the possibility to choose the record format: TS or mpg. But when recorded, it is TSV...
I tried FormatFactory program to convert to MP4; after 12 hours converting, a error message.

Now I will try small records and the VLC as suggested.

So, about the mediainfo, i renamed the file to TS instead of TSV and I could have:

    TSV files partially solved

I got mine from a hd Hisense TV

Can play them using media player or KLM or SMPlayer v18.2.0

    VLC will not do it

renaming works also but not required

I have also tested the above on VISTA and SM player works. Although if you
dpn't change the TSV to ts they look like NOTEPAD file when you click
on them. With Icaros setup you get thumbnails as TS. And you can
    see what you're doing.
