Hi everybdy, I tried to play with InpaintDelogo in order to remove a watermak on a video.
I use this simple script :
Here is the video file with 2 masks. The first one named ina.bmp is the watermark with its actual colors, and the second one named ina2.bmp is the mask with only 2 colors (black=background, white=watermark)#Opening of the video file named ina.mp4
FFMpegSource2("in.mp4")
#Applying Inpaint Delogo on the whole screen
InpaintDelogo(mask="ina.bmp", Loc="0,0,-0,-0")
The problem is that I have an error when I want to open my script on VirtualDub2 :
Unexpected character '['
inpaintDelogo.avsi line 2641, column 37
I have this error on 32bit version and 64 bit version.
Can somebody please share some light on this error?
I think I have all the plugins needed. My version of InpaintDelogo script is v3.6
Please have a nice day
best regards

Thank you VoodooFX, now it works after updating to AviSynth+ 3.7.2 instead of 3.5
I had also to add those plugins :
- AvsInpaint : http://avisynth.nl/index.php/AvsInpaint
- Neo_FFT3D : http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Neo_FFT3D
Please have a nice day

I'm back with InPaintDelogo.
I could proceed a video and the result is OK (better than I expected). I think the settings I use for InpaintDelogo in my script should be improved. I would like to know if someone here could help me in order to get a better result.
In the package (INA.zip) you will find :
- the first frame of the video which contains the logo on a black background (1stframe.bmp)
- the mask I use (ina-mask.bmp) which is 1stframe.bmp edited in order to have the logo in white instead of light grey.
- The video I want to proceed (ina.mp4)
- The script used : (INA_logo_removing.avs)
side note : the mask (ina-mask.bmp) is inside c:\mask folder
Here is the script I use :
#Opening of video file with audio track
FFMpegSource2("ina.mp4",atrack=1)
#Removing logo with InpaintDelogo and ina-mask.bmp as mask
InpaintDelogo(mask="c:\mask\ina-mask.bmp", Loc="0,0,-0,-0")
The text you should read is : NIVEAU DES RETRAITES
Please have nice day

Problem is that you are inpainting instead of deblending.
Once I removed this "ina" logo, but I didn't kept the masks.
To advice you more, I would need full original video with this logo, maybe the multiple videos with this logo as your sample doesn't look like a very suitable candidate for analysis. -
Thank you VoodooFX for your reply.
Unfortunatly I have just those 1 to 2 minutes clips to work with that you can have on http://mediaclip.ina.fr
What would be the suitable length of the video in order to make à good analysis ?
Thanks a lot

In one clip my wife's father is interviewed and the logo is just in the middle of his face. And with the mask used it just looks like a water drop was on the camera during the shooting.
In another clip, my best friend is interviewed, so if I can have the right mask and settings I would be able to "delogoed" those videos and offer them clean clips of their prestations on TV.
As for the clips, I can have as many clips as needed. I can download them using firefox and videodownload helper plugin.
Thanks a lot

Download them ~10-20, zip them and upload to Wetransfer or Mega.
As probably in these clips there are no solid frames then look for clips with movement through various backgrounds instead of the static talking heads.
