    Because direct stream copy of audio is broken in MP3 Freeze. The saved avi has truncated audio. I have verified this bug by simply loading and saving an avi without any cutting. In this case the source and destination avis should be identical but they are not, the destination has truncated audio. Is there a workaround for this? Thank you.

    Try VD Mod instead. If you detect MP3 VBR audio, save it out as a WAV then convert it to MP3 CBR and 'add' it back in.
