How to capture video without flicker in Linux?

Specs: Acer Gaming Desktop Nitro 50 N50-600-EB14 Intel Core i7 8th Gen 8700 (3.20 GHz) 16 GB DDR4 2 TB HDD 16 GB Optane Memory NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Linux Mint 19.1/Cinnamon

Capture software : OBS, Vokoscreen

Fortunately the flickering won't happen on every frame, but just the fact that it happens it's bad enough.
This flickering won't happen in Windows 10 though.
I'm thinking the problem must be with the Nvidia driver for Linux.
About this flickering, it's like about 15% of the screen opens a long horizontal window showing the desktop behind. Only long enough to show in one frame. It'll happen about every 10 frames.

Any ideas on how to get rid of this flickering?
