  1. Hello i get this message when i try to convert a .avi to .vcd
    it says it does not have acceptable parameters! Or it can cannot be opened!
    I even decompress & and it still says that! what is the matter plz help?????

  3. i use the program .avi2vcd
    it comes with a audio decompressor. i use that for everything i convert (i have to unless i get an error)
    then i go to convert it and then i get that error message!

    Are all your codecs installed, and have you scanned the video stream for errors in Virtual Dub?

  5. what do you mean.......do i have all my codecs installed? how do u do that? i havent used virtual dub.......but i have played it in my DivX player!

  9. ok when i try to open the .avi file in virtual dub it says.......
    Couldnt locate decompressor for format 'DX50 UNKNOWN
    VirtualDub requires a Video for windows (VFW) compatable codec to decompress video. Directshow codects such as those used by Windows Media Player are not suitable.
