What are the latest Windows 7 drivers for Realtek audio (ALC1150)? The motherboard manufacturer has long stopped releasing drivers and the official R2.82 seem outdated. What are the drivers available from the two following sites?

Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Just from a quick Internet search, it appears version R2.82 is the latest version (June 2017) for the ALC1150 on W7.
But other members may have better information. -
With R2.82 the Realtek HD Audio Manager is not installed and also a mic or headphones are not automatically detected when plugged in the front panel.
-
I checked other Realtek Audio chips as well, but I can not find any newer driver version like R2.82.
How big is the installer of your R2.82 driver package? -
Ok, sorry I can not help you with that, I switched to Win10 several years ago and there Microsoft driver is used which works fine, but I only tried it with a pc Soundsystem once, I use HDMI and/or SPDIF on my computers, so not really needed here on my side.
What older version works for you?
But if you found a solution for your issue post it here, it my help others as well. -
The version from the motherboard manufacturer works but it's old. I believe the drivers from the two sites above are newer than the official R2.82.
-
Perhaps you may find realtek audio drivers updates through windows update.

There's no new driver after R2.82.

It's probably installed but not set to start automatically.
Try to open RAVCpl64.exe located in C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA
I don't use the manager myself since I don't need hotswitching of connectors. Windows' own sound settings is all I need. I'm on Windows 10 Pro x64 1903 though.valvehead// -
I believe the drivers from the two links in my first post are newer than the R2.82.
-
have you tried installing the new drivers yet ?? - https://github.com/pal1000/Realtek-UAD-generic
and - https://github.com/alanfox2000/realtek-universal-audio-driver -
I have installed the drivers from the link below:

RAVCpl64.exe is located in C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA, but it does not open.
Driver version of R2.82 is 6.0.1.8186.
Driver version from https://github.com/alanfox2000/realtek-hda-release/releases/ is 6.0.8720.1.
Why the different numbering?Last edited by kyrcy; 19th Jun 2019 at 13:16.
