If a Region 2 DVD is played on a multi-region LG Blu-Ray player, should it look exactly the same as it would played on a Region 2 DVD player?

There's some interesting stuff in the thread but I don't see where my specific question is addressed.

Btw, I'm calling it a Region 2 disc because of the listing for it online. I don't see any such designation anywhere on the packaging. It does play - color, sound. The packaging indicates NTSC 4:3.

With today's televisions there's really no reason to believe that you will be horrified by what you see playing a PAL DVD on NTSC equipment.....you just gotta get it to PLAY first.

  4. Depends on the player, the TV, and the cabling (results via upscaled HDMI and composite may be different).
