  1. I'm looking for some help on identifying a cable name or type. I need to order some of these cables, but i don't have anything to go off of. I have include a picture. Any help is appreciated. 12 Pin, maybe arounf m16 connector. It is used for Camera or Video.

  2. That looks like a standard "old school" video camera connection. Referred to by dealers as a "hirose 12 pin" cable or "CCD Camera Cable" or a jumble of letters like "CCXC-12P". These aren't cheap brand new but used examples can be found at reasonable prices on eBay with patient searching. Since the cable in your photo has a connector on one end and loose wires on the other, it may be a custom variation, but it seems likely you need something like this:

  3. I'll look those names up. the 2 links you sent me don't have that C Shape cut out in the center.

  4. Sorry, didn't catch the C notch (its a little hard to see in your pic). Drilling further at supplier sites, looks like there are similar "EIAJ" variants with a C notch. Something like this Sony Betacam Dub Cable perhaps, hope it helps narrow your search:

  6. Ugh: I see the first link with complete cable illustrations went dead an hour after I posted it, who knows why. Here's a couple more illustrating the 12 pin Sony BetaCam type cables, yours looks like it was either open ended originally or modified for some other custom use.
