I have some videos, all captured from TV about ten years ago by someone. All of them have video/audio sync problems. In one, for example the video lagged behind the audio getting progressively worse over 47 minutes so that, by the end, it was a whopping twenty seconds out of wack.
I played that same video again but advanced to the end and the video and audio were perfectly in sync. It's the same with any player.
Can anyone explain what the problem is and what might be done to fix it?
These are MP4 from YouTube but the problem exists for the AVI versions of the same videos that I have burnt to DVD from ten years ago. I assume the YouTube videos were from the same AVI source.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Any player? Even with players with built in decoders like vlc media player and smplayer?
Can you open the video in editors without problems? Like avidemux. It usually crashes if the video/audio is broken...
Can you post the full details from one the videos. Use mediainfo, view->text and copy everything.
