    Hello,

Lately I got some Video CDs which plays well in standalone CD/DVD players, but while inserting into a P.C it is displayed as Audio CD. Explorer shows only two audio tracks with .cda extension. So where did the .dat files gone? Why these C.D's are not played in computer and how can this be fixed? I wonder if this is some kind of copy protection..

Open it in ISOBuster to get a better understanding of what is truly on there.

Windows often obfuscates or hides files/folders/filesystems.

It is not impossible for VCDs to ALSO have AudioCD tracks (I know, having made them many times in years past).

Note: this does not rule out the possibility of "copy protection" through creating a nonstandard disc. This seems to occur regularly in India.
