I am editing on adobe premiere cs3. I am using a dell inspiron 1520 (2.0 core2duo, 2 gig of ram, geforce 8600 256mb) and I just formatted and put vista home back on. For some reason, right before i render a clip, premiere freezes up momentarily and task manager declares it (not responding). Is this due to faulty video drivers? I am converting .MTS files with soopa's batch file, then importing them in. This happens the second i try to manipulate this file (scale to frame size, render, ect). It only lasts a moment, but it happens consecutively.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

just attempted this with a dv captured file, have not had any freezes yet. Perhaps I need to export the .acv file before attempting to mess with it? Once i get it in, i have no problems.
thx guys
edit: i submitted too soon...had the whole program crash, had to restart comp and lost half my timeline. gaa wtf?
