I am looking for a replacement software for a mini DVB-T stick that I recently bought. The software that came with the stick is confusing and an oem version that is no longer updated. I have tried SichboPVR and NextPVR and both are better, but the remote control that came with the stick is not working. Is there any other software (preferably freeware) I could try?

Most third-party PVR/TV viewer software is designed to work with MCE remotes and RC6 USB IR receivers. However, if the remote and receiver that come bundled with a particular PC TV tuner are not designed to work with Windows Media Center they may not work with anything other than the manufacturer's proprietary software. Unfortunately, you haven't told us what DVB-T tuner you have so it's hard to identify what sort of remote and receiver came with it.

For what it is worth, here is some information about remotes and key mappers for NextPVR: https://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Hardware.RemoteControls

The information about remotes and key mappers for NextPVR does not seem very useful.

I have the following mini DVB-T stick:

The product page doesn't say that the remote and receiver for your DVB-T stick are compatible with Windows Media Center, so they probably aren't.

EventGhost http://www.eventghost.net/ was mentioned on the NextPVR page about remotes and key mappers although the link on that page is broken. EventGhost is about the only thing I know of that might work with your remote and receiver but I haven't used it and I can't promise that it will work.

If there is no key mapper that will work with the remote that came bundled with your TV tuner stick, then I guess the surest way I know of to add remote control is to get a MCE remote and RC6 receiver.

If you decide to use a hardware solution, the FLIRC receiver might work with your existing remote although you'll have to program it. https://www.amazon.com.au/FLIRC-Universal-Receiver-Raspberry-Consoles/dp/B01NBRBWS6 The FLIRC receiver also works with Logitech Harmony remotes and MCE remotes.
