    MCE 2005 has three settings Best Better and Best or something like that. What are the formats of that recoding as in what is it comparable to. I know it not exactly like an mpeg cause it has a dvr-ms extension. Is the recording in different qualities of mpeg2.

    DVR-MS is a proprietary MS format. Read this and ask more if needed.

    I read saw that the dvr-ms file is a like a asf file so does that mean the dvr-ms are different formas of the asf file.
    If so what are they.
