I used streamlink, btw.

When using youtube-dl, still use the api, but then use the quality url (h.m3u8, i.m3u8) in the first instance. youtube-dl will pass it to ffmpeg.

set it to youtube-dl and see if it'll get the m3u8 stream

Sure . I usually use video downloadhelper extension for download video stream.But this case, Video downloadhelper can not download.I also try HLS downloader extension but it same.
I use TV downloader from here : https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/382423-YoutubeVideoDownloader-download-video-and-a...from-900-sites . It can be download free Episode from this website but with another EP require TV account provider , it can not download ( although I have fill user name and password of my TV provider )
