Sony RDR_GX120 HELP PLEASE

Hi running the Easy SET UP all goes well until I get to the downloading receivable channel section where it tells me I have no receivable channels.The television, an Alba, which is cabled through the recorder receives all Freeview and Terrestrial channels with no problem at all.Does anyone know how I can check and ,if necessary alter, the receivable channel system to ensure it is set for Great Britain? This DVD recorder from 2006 has no digital (DVB-T) tuner. All terrestrial broadcasts in the UK have been DVB-T since 2012.

You would need to use an external tuner if you want to send TV to this recorder.
