    I am looking for a doula-layer DVD writer. I was planning to get the NEC 3520 because of the many reviews and readers comments. Now I see the 3540 is out in the market.

    If the new one is at least as good as the old one, I would buy the new one. What do you think ?

    It looks like the the new feature of the 3540 is 8x dual layer DVD+R, up from 4x on the 3520a.
