  1. Hi, new to the forum. I was wondering if it was possible to convert heavily stylized .ass subtitles to SUP or Blu-ray compliant format. In the pictures above you can see what I mean by heavily stylized. There's text both above (Romanized Japanese) and below (English translation), and in some scenes, the Japanese credits are also translated. I underlined all the subtitle text in red so as not to get confused with the video text. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? If it's not possible to have the credits, I'd at least like to have both the top and bottom lines. I've already tried SubtitleEdit, with no luck. Thanks in advance.

  2. Not possible.

BD does not support ASS subs, and BD SUP will not support this properly

Your only options would be to hardcode them, or don't use BD

  4. I always get single line subtitle, or nothing. Probably I just don't know how to use it properly.

  6. I uploaded an alternative version, with way less stylizing, if it happens to be easier for you.

  8. Personally I find that EasySUP supports .ass tags better than Subtitle Edit.
