trying to split dual audio mpg

Well I have an mpg with dual audio, i want to only use 1 of the audio, I tried loading it in vdub mod and it only shows 1 stream, so how can I do this ? I just want to save 1 of the 2 audio.

two audio tracks, or different audio recorded in the left and right channels ?

Sonds like the latter, in which case you need to demux the audio, load it into an audio editor, copy the channel you want to keep over the channel you don't need, encode it back again, then mux it in with the video
