    Hello all
I wanted to convert a video to sd, so I can later burn to a dvd. The video I currently have is in 1280x720 resolution with 23 fps, and is in ac3 6 channels 48000 hz 448kbps. I tried using super to convert it, but I keep getting pauses during the video, as if someone paused it then skipped a few seconds ahead. I know super isn't the best choice of video conversion for anyone, but I gave it a try.

I tried converting it to mpg ll with ac3 audio 48000hz 448kbps 6 channel, and 720x480 res with 9000 kbps 23fps, 16:9 aspect ratio. With the above settings it gave me some good quality video, but poor playback.

Does anyone know how I can convert this vid, so I can later put it on a dvd. Because I went straight to nero, and tried using the dvd video option, and let it do it on its own, and it gave me poor results as well. Your input is appreciated, thank you.

HDTV2DVD is freeware and can do this too.

Yes, Nero is not a very good tool for this kind of thing. You have to resize and re-encode the video and doing both well is a little tricky.

I used FAVC, but it keeps giving me a file that is about 375mb only. I fiddled around with the settings, and its all the same.
