hello, like i said already in another topic
i got problems with a .mp4 movie: the sound comes too early, around a half second before the picture

is there a program to set the sound right to sync, which does NOTHING else, not converting to any other format or anything
just set the sound -/+500 ms, and for MP4 files
i tried avidemux, but it didnt work

    .
EDIT: procedure seems to only work with mpeg4 in AVI. Sorry!

You can try Avanti which uses FFmpeg that has a TS (time stamp offset) option.

    https://forum.videohelp.com/topic343287.html

You must use a FFmpeg version SVN-r12134 or higher because there were
    muxing problems in previous versions.

    1. First demux the mp4 using the UNI_DEMUX_SETUP template.
    2. Then load the mp4 with video only on source 1 and the audio on source 2.
    3. Then use UNI_MUX_SETUP template and set the TS offset field to -500 ms
... to mux it back to a mp4 (setting PS or default should give a mp4 container).

This option shifts the video not the audio, that's why you have to set -500

    Chris.
