Generally the kitchen but if its something simple like a sandwich I'll eat it in the living room while watching tv. Only for big nfl or ncaa football games will I risk eating pizza anywhere but the kitchen - usually with a large plastic tray and lots of napkins

Since my kitchen, dinning room and living room are all in the same room, all of them.

  7. Dining room, or the patio outside in good weather. Pizza in the living room, of course. We go to a restaurant probably 2 times a month, on average.

On my bedroom's balcony, unless it's raining. In that case I eat in the garage.

Dining table in the kitchen, no exceptions.

Need TV? Fine, that's why I put a small TV with a DVD player in the kitchen.

Even has cable using one of these: Nyrius NY-GS3200 5.8GHz
Source signal from unused second plug in another room. Controlled via extra VCR.

I may just stand by the counter to eat a sandwich or snack.

    No food anywhere else.

Not always in the same room, but most always in front of a TV.

  16. I'm a grad student, and for me it's the kitchen all the way. My living room practically doesn't exist because I never finished moving in to my apartment. I cook a lot, but the classiness stops there—sometimes I even eat dinner straight out of the pan, over the stove.

The staff (my wife and I - we have a cat) usually eat in the den/computer/TV room (converted from a second bedroom), occasionally in the living room, almost never in the dining room, and never in the kitchen (which is very small - only holds one person at a time).

The kitchen has an awesome view of a 60" hi def tv, it's like the living kitchen.

In the dining room (that is really an extended part of our kitchen), unless something like the world series is on TV in which case it's in the living room. We make a point of always eating together as a family so TV is not an option during dinner, except as noted. My teenaged kids have never complained mainly because they have never known anything different (and in fact when we don't eat together, they wonder what's wrong).

This varies by number of people in the house. Ranges from formal dining room to in front of computer.

Over here 'dinner' can refer to the midday or evening meal. The main evening meal is often called 'tea'. Confusingly, tea (the drink) is rarely served as part of the meal...

To answer the original question; I eat all over the place, depending on whether I'm eating alone or not - living room, computer, kitchen, bedroom, dining area.

In the dinning room which is well away from the TV - instead a good quality sound system. We discuss the events of the day over the table with a good red. In OZ the meals generally are breakfast - lunch - dinner - late night supper and then go out and party
