  6. You can use youtube-dl with a proxy. I used the trial of Hideallip. I think you only get 30 minutes of use with the trial. I had no problem starting the download with youtube-dl using the basic:
    Code:
    youtube-dl https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000flwt
However that gives the largest file size which would take over 30 minutes to download. Using the -F command to see available resolutions, I had difficulty choosing a lower resolution, so I just used Tubedigger (with hideallip trial) and downloaded the smallest size (384x216) in about 6 minutes.

Edit: you can use this with youtube-dl which is downloading for me (with hideallip):
    Code:
    youtube-dl -f worst https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000flwt
However, it is now downloading a 628MB, 704x396 file, with an ETA of 30 minutes, so it might not be able to complete the download in the 30 minute trial of hideallip.
Interesting that Tubedigger was able to download a lower resolution than the "worst" resolution from youtube-dl.
If hideallip cuts off after 30 minutes and youtube-dl hasn't finished downloading, I believe you can just restart hideallip, and youtube-dl will continue downloading the file.
Edit youtube-dl finished downloading the "worst" (704x396)

I used hideallip with Tubedigger (default setting) and youtube-dl and both worked perfectly. I don't know anything about Chrome or other browsers because I was only interested in downloading the video, not watching it in a browser.

  9. hideallip, for me, work only with browser, not with the whole system. and with browser if started ONLY on your window "launch shortcut"
check your IP on https://whatismyipaddress.com/ before hideallip, then run hideallip and re-check your IP: for me is the same! but if i run my browser from "launch shortcut" window of hideallip then my IP is hidden!
what i want to say is the fact that hideallip only works if the browser is started by the program itself, so for me also other programs outside of hideallip like tubedigg or yt-dl for me don't work with hidden IP ..... confirm this.

  11. hi sysanin, tanxs for your reply, but i have understand the problem: with browser open (on my case chrome), run hideallip, connect to one server, check my IP and it is the same... but if close my browser, then re-open browser and check my IP, i have new IP hide!
namely first run hideallip, then the browser! I had already tried that button, but my IP was always the same! now i understand how to do it.
    anyway tanxs for your reply!

edit: @sys see PM at nsane. here not possible to send...
