Demux MPEG2 for its Audio Track

Hello, i need help on how to demux an MPEG2 to get the audio track, since VirtualDub wont allow me to open an MPEG2 and saving its WAV file. What program do i need for this task. Thanks

tmpgenc->file->mpeg tools->simple demultiplex.

or use virtualdub-mpeg2, virtualdubmod and you can open mpeg2.

VirtualDubMod and VirtualDubMPEG2 open it.
Also you can use TMPGEnc's de-multiplex function, but you will probably get a mp2 file.

VirtualDub Mod or VDMPG-2 will for either demuxing or saving as a WAV. Or you can use TMPGEnc encoder>Tools and simple demux. Or probably quite a few more programs can do it.

EDIT: Looks like everyone answered at once. At least we were consistant.

Weirdly I cant find SAVE AS WAV in VirtualDubMod

Load file.

[Streams | Stream List]
Select stream, [Save As WAV] button (or try DEMUX button if you wanna go that way)

Just to add, if you save as WAV with VDM, you want to select full processing for the audio or you may get a WAV/AC3 mixed file instead of a pure WAV file.

rejig will load and demux mpg programme streams as well.

File->Save Project. You can also decode to WAV if you like.
