Hello, i need help on how to demux an MPEG2 to get the audio track, since VirtualDub wont allow me to open an MPEG2 and saving its WAV file. What program do i need for this task. Thanks
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

tmpgenc->file->mpeg tools->simple demultiplex.
or use virtualdub-mpeg2, virtualdubmod and you can open mpeg2. -
VirtualDubMod and VirtualDubMPEG2 open it.
Also you can use TMPGEnc's de-multiplex function, but you will probably get a mp2 file. -
VirtualDub Mod or VDMPG-2 will for either demuxing or saving as a WAV. Or you can use TMPGEnc encoder>Tools and simple demux. Or probably quite a few more programs can do it.
EDIT: Looks like everyone answered at once. At least we were consistant. -
Thanks for quick replies
Weirdly I cant find SAVE AS WAV in VirtualDubMod -
Load file.
[Streams | Stream List]
Select stream, [Save As WAV] button (or try DEMUX button if you wanna go that way)
