Hello!
I saw several threads in 2009-2011 time frame and looks like they were all about Philips -
yes, I've got it, Blue Ray or DVD players with USB input cannot show USB files in alphabetical order.
But may be some other Blue Ray/DVD player manufacturers allow this?
See, very small and very cheap Micca media player does it so I hope some of big and powerful DVD players also can do that, am I wrong?
I use Micca in the bedroom, but cannot use it in the living room, as the distance between TV/player and the couch is too large for Micca remote
I am looking at a DVD player (or Blue Ray) that has such option...
P.S. As many people in those older threads, I cannot see feasible an option to connect my external USB hard drive to PC and sort it there -
imagine 2 Tb disk with hundreds of files to which I often add 1-2 movie files - it's not practical at all to sort entire hard drive each time I add couple files...
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Try putting a piece of "magic" transparent tape (the translucent kind) over the Micca's IR window. Sometimes this helps the receiver pick up a marginal signal.
