    Hello everybody
I have been trying to reencode as mp4 the .mts files from Sony RX100.
Video comes out ok but I can't get the audio track. When I open the file with Quicktime or VLC the audio track is missing. Only the Video track is present.
When I load the original in ffmpegX, it shows
    From: MPEG-TS
    Video: h264 yuv420p 1920x1080
    Audio: ac3
Whatever setting I use for audio as Target format I get nothing.
The Audio track 0 is chosen. I tried others (1-15) but then the Encode stops straight away resulting in a 0kb file, so I guess track 0 is the right one.
VLC plays the original .mts file with audio no problem.
    Any idea?
    thanks

Update, as you talked about handbrake I tried find and found nightly builds and download the last one and it works...
    I'll use Handbrake then.

    Great!

You could also try another more up-to-date ffmpeg frontend like iffmpeg.
