  1. I am useing Any Video Converter it let you Copy and Past an Online Videos URL.
Then Download and Convert it to another Video Format.

    But I need help.

I go onto YouTube to lookup things on Tech. and things like this.
Because I have Bad Eyes I do like to make a Copy of Tech. Videos and keep them on my PC to go back and Watch again.

Any Video Converter lets you Copy the URL and then pick the Format you want to Convert it to.

So First I go to the YouTube Video and Copy the URL.

Then I Open Any Video Converter and Click on Get URL and I Past the URL into it.

    Then I Click Start Download.

Now after it Downloads it I can see a ThumbNail on the Any Video Converter screen.

So now I go to the Top Tab that says DVD NTSC and the Video Screen opens.

So I pick Video File DVD NTSC.

And on the Bottom Right it has CODEC mpeg2 and all the mpg2 specs.

So I Click on the Top Right Convert Now and it does.

But if I open the Video in the Program MediaInfo it say the CODEC is mpg4.

I do not think I am doing this Right can you help?

  2. Why convert it to anything? Download the highest quality YouTube version straight to your computer and watch that. Cut out the middleman. Your conversion program can't make a better version.

  3. Well how can I Download the Video Right from the Online URL to my DeskTop?

You say why Convert it just Download it Right to the DeskTop and keep it as is.

    Do it like a pro

    download youtube-dl
put the youtube-dl folder to your user PATH environment variable
start PowerShell and execute the following command line:

    youtube-dl url

Please ask if something don't work, isn't clear or is cumbersome.

  5. Hehe, we all have our favorites and my own favorites definitely have nothing to do with CLI programs.

Try 4K Video Downloader. Get the URL from the YouTube video and paste it in the top left corner of 4K Video Downloader. Wait 10-15 seconds while it churns and then take your pick of all the different versions available on YouTube.

  6. Thank you for all your help but I just need help with one more thing?

I open my Any Video Converter and I Click the Tab Ad URL.

Then I Copy and Past the Online URL into the Box and Click Download.

Then it starts and it says Verification Complete.

Then I Screen open that says

Please Select a Video Format / quality to Download.

And above the List of Formats it says
    Avalible Formats.

    a1 - x3 DASH Audio Only
    a1 - x3 DASH Video 480 x 727

So I Pick the one that says
    a1 - x3 DASH Video 480 x 727.

But what Video Frame Size is 480 X 727?
    Standard is 720 X 480

Then simple batch and drag&drop may be THE answer (i know that you are aware of this) - i like simple, no installation tons of mumbo jumbo libraries, bloated frameworks that never works and they need to be constantly updated (case for Java or for .NET or even for Microsoft C compiler - i have in my Windows like 10 instances for those libraries) - or portable or no installation applications only, cli no problem - good documentation is all i need.

You give me too much credit. I've never used a batch file in my life and hope I never have to. Do you really think biferi is capable of using the methods suggested by you and stax76? I gave him a method that works along with instructions yet he insists on asking even more silly questions.

  12. Thanks for all the help it all works good now.

After I Copy and Past my Videos URL into Any Video Converter and Click Download a Screen asks me to Pick a Video Format to Download in.

So I do and all worrks good thanks.

But this one Time after I Cpy and Past a Videos URL into Any Video Converter and I Click Download it did not ask me to Pick a Video Format To Download In it just Started the Download.

Does this mean it was only in One Format?
