I've made a working account ant typed it in the software as needed, but it doesn't work...

Nice to see you are still active here ...
You could add the command "--list-formats" in your GUI, which would then open eg. another window showing the user exactly all available downloadable video+audio formats of the given URL video ...

Then the user just enters the format code in a box in your gui, and your downloader just uses the download syntax:
C:\Program Files (x86)\TVDownloader>youtube-dl.exe -f format-code here video-url here.

I have to do this by hand manually, cause your GUI unfortunately doesn't download BBC videos in 25FPS at high quality, but at 50FPS which makes the size of the video almost double, to that of 25fps.. , eventho 25fps would be available...
In my case, the format-code youtube-dl listed and which i chose was 2040, so i typed:
youtube-dl.exe -f 2040 https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/the_rest_of_the_url_here
and it downloaded a video with audio already muxed in it..

it shouldn't be hard to add in your gui, just put it under some "advanced options" or "experimental options",
it's not hard to use at all, after you can see the correct format-code from the list youtube-dl outputs on your screen/file ...
Just add the feature, and add text there "Do not use this option unless you're advanced user, your download will not work if this value is wrong or left empty!" or something. :P

edit: ofcourse, this would be then an optional feature in the "download quality" settings of your GUI, which would be turned OFF by default so it wouldn't cause problems for the average user.

Most of these problems are NOT YoutubeVideoDownloader related problems, but the 3rd party youtube-dl.exe app related.
for me, it usually helps to update youtube-dl.exe manually,to the latest version from the authors webpage,and put it in YoutubeVideoDownloader's installation
directory, overwriting the old one.
see here my little instructions. :P

The again, as per this post by the author., he uses a custom compiled version of youtube-dl.exe .. but when the english tv-shows won't download for me with his custom version, i update it to the official latest version. :P

I understand that tvdownloader is a GUI for (modified) youtube-dl and ffmpeg, so maybe you are using other versions?

Moreover you are using a different URL
