  1. I am looking for a free simple video joiner with fade out and fade in features. I have to join clips of myself singing and the clips very in length so I need to fade out and fade in

  2. Then you don't just join. At the very least, you have to reencode at the fades.

    If reencoding the whole thing is okay, then AviSynth's Append and Fade can easily do the job

    FFmpeg has a fade and also a clone, if you wish, that will create a still image of the first frame/last frame during the fade in/out. Personally I like the added clone filter so no action is lost during fade in/out duration.
