Capturing VCD with Dazzle Movie Editor?????

Hello.
I have just purchased Dazzle and I want to Capture my Vcd film and then record onto video cassette.
I put my Vcd into my DVD rom drive (the file to play the movie is Aveseq01.DAT) and then I try and capture the movie in Dazzle but it says that im not allowed. Should I convert my movie dat file into avi or something?
Could someone please tell me how I can record my Vcd's from my computer to my video cassette player using Dazzle?

You will have to copy your VCD to your HDD and then import it.
