    SUBTITLE EDIT 3.5.7

I just installed this version, it's not the newest, I know, but it should work.
Video Ed requires VLC Media Player to display the video. VLC Media Player is already installed in my PC.
According to the instructions, it is done by going to OPTIONS => SETTINGS = VIDEO PLAYER, and choose VLC Media Player as the Video engine.
It comes with 4 options: DirectShow, VLC media player, MPC-HC and mpv. By default, the dot is already in the first one, DirectShow.
When I click on VLC media player, nothing happens. So I cannot select VLC media player as my video engine. Why?

I am very sorry. Yes, it is Subtitle Edit. How can I fix (edit) the title of this thread?

Make sure both programs are either 32 or 64 bit, they must match. Then once you set the path,
you'll be able to select it

    davexnet:

Wow, davexnet, that was it! I didn't know my VLC was 32 bit. I just installed the 64 bit version and... success!

    THANKS A LOT.
