    I've tried capturing with premiere 6 off my sony digital 8 camera and I don't get any sound. also, How do I maintain the aspect ratio? If anyone knows premiere 6, PLEASE email me.

    If you are using a capture card, make sure it is connected to your sound card (by one of those small cables) and the appropriate source of recording is selected.

    To amintain aspect ratio, right-click the video clip in the timeline, choose video options and voila, you will see maintain aspect ratio as asn option.
