I was thinking about getting the HornetTek Mirage HT-MP-3030S http://www.hornettek.com/index.php/hdd-media-player/35q-sata/mirage in order to access my ISO collection remotely over LAN. I would also like to be able to schedule recordings. HD is not an issue for my purposes but this unit plays 1080i, records in SD.
Can anyone recommend an alternative product for roughly the same cost? There must be more out there. I don't really want to have to change OS (use Windows Media Center Edition) which is the only way some "Media Center Extender" products work. The above looks like a pretty sweet stand alone solution.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
