Slysoft closing shop and Fengtao abandoning 4k Blu-ay

Slysoft has closed up shop. No more AnyDVD. Fengtao, makers of DVDFab says it won't be attempting to crack 4k Blu-ray.

Yeah I looked back several pages and saw nothing. But as soon as I posted it there comes the other topic to the top again. I hate when that happens.

It's sad to hear this. I don't blame them, I blame the greedy MPAA and film studios, that instead of letting us fairly use the content we paid for, have to keep lining their pockets. Everybody knows the DMCA is a stupid law. But mark my words, somebody else will step up in their place. Fighting piracy has been a losing game since the days of VHS. Every copy protection scheme has been broken or sidestepped and this won't change things.
