I saw the thread looking for suggestions but this is for the Canadians!
I have been reading reviews upon reviews here and correct me if I'm wrong but almost every unit seems to get a bad review. Dvdrecorders sound like such a good idea and I'd like one but heck I'm not spending 800 bucks a "good" one either.
As the other thread mentioned about 80% of the units listed are not available at local stores, especially in Canada. Futureshop, Bestbuy, And Walmart are the main stores for us.
For under $400 can I get a Dvd-recorder that features a 80G drive, DL recording and possible PVR functions? It would be also nice if the unit worked smoothly with Satelite too.
This Canadian would really appreciate any suggestions. I am finally too old to fart around encoding anymore...
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
