Now all you Panasonic DMR owners don't forget to tally up those units too. Unless this is just for computer based units If it is to find out what the total user base (of this site) for each type of drive, then I think they should be included.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

We already have a poll like this in the DVD Burner section.

    BTW I use -R, first a Pioneer DVR-A04 and now a DVR-105.

Next we will hear from the "Format Wars" boys, they will say ......

    DVD-R/W (DVD-R/W/RAM) has 35%

    DVD+R/W (DVD±R/W/RAM) has 23%

    DVD±R/W has 28%

Looks even to me, but the "-" camp will say that they win and that "+" is going down...

My aging CD-Writer is now as a normal CD-ROM due to incompatibility to the new system. Errors and errors and very slow.

A new DVD-Writer will replace it some day and hopefully cheaper soon. I'll get it when I am ready.

I have another CD-Burner, this one as USB connected into an old Win98 computer just at its end. This CD-Writer will go out the door with the old computer and a new mini computer will be coming soon as P4, 2.4 Ghz with 512 MB of RAM and a graphics card.
