disable auto tool link from profile?

Instead of having to disable the auto tool links on a per-post basis, can it be set automatically in your profile? And then let me override it on a case-by-case basis? Instead of the other way around?

With more software being given retarded names ... SUPER! ... and some others, I find conversations and URL links getting screwed up more and more.

Is there any way to make the auto link tool NOT WORK when the letters "http" or "www" start a word? I've seen lots of botched web addresses because the auto tool links override the URL links.

I know the OP, by the way, he's not a spammer. But he is helping people find deals on good equipment as he sees them, including auctions. I fixed his link in my post in that thread. Had to disable the auto tool links.
